Workshop 4: The value chain in integrated biorefineries – process integration and efficiency for the production of biobased plastics for industrial production

Workshop, Aarhus University, Campus Foulum
Thursday September 15, 2016
Workshop leader:
Ib Johannsen

Background

It is of key importance to optimize the value chain in integrated bio-refineries in order to push towards a biobased society. Process integration and efficiency for the production in order to optimize not only all streams of the valuable biomass resources but also to integrate energy flows is needed to obtain sustainable bio-refineries. The workshop will discuss these issues in relation to the production of biobased plastics and other value added product streams.
